  • ESKD risk prediction in patients with class 1 ADPKD

This online tool estimates the probability of end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) by 80 years of age in patients with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD), defined as an eGFR <15 ml/min/1.73 m². The calculation is based on sex, age, height, current eGFR, and total kidney volume. Kidney volume measurements can be obtained using either MRI or CT. It is recommended that the age and serum creatinine values used for the estimation are obtained within ±6 months of the imaging study. This tool is intended for use by healthcare professionals managing patients aged 18–79 years with class 1 (symmetrical) ADPKD. It is applicable only to individuals who have both kidneys intact and no evidence or suspicion of concomitant nephropathy. This calculator runs locally in your browser, no patient data is transmitted or stored on our servers. This tool is designed to assist clinical decision-making but does not replace professional medical judgment. The responsibility for medical interventions remains with the treating healthcare team.
